Brass Knuckle® at its finest, the BK4599 is a high-end mechanic’s glove featuring abrasion resistance, ANSI level 4 cut resistance, breathability, durability, flexibility, grip surface, and impact resistance.
On the palm and fingers, the BK4599 offers three layers of protection. The liner is an ultra high-performance polyethelene (HPPE) and spandex composite, delivering heavy duty cut resistance without bulk. Bonded to this first layer is a gray polyurethane (PU) fabric topped with a grippy nitrile surface. In critical areas of the palm, the grippy surface features additional padding. Finally, the back of the hand is loaded with sonically welded thermoplastic rubber (TPR) padding for serious impact resistance.
This glove is a mega-mighty construction — featuring fit, form, and function.
WARNING: Cut-resistant gloves are extremely cut resistant but not cut proof. Do not subject to high speed or highly serrated blades. Always disconnect power before cleaning or removing sharp blades.
Features
- Layered construction features HPPE/spandex composite with PU fabric and nitrile anti-slip bonded surface.
- High flexibility — padding and coatings are adjusted at flex points to make this a top-rated ergonomic glove.
- Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) padding in critical areas of the palm increases protection. Reinforced thumb crotch extends glove life.
- Back-of-the-hand TPR padding provides durable, long-lasting resistance to abrasions, contusions, punctures, and cuts.
- HPPE knit is a high-performance fiber that provides ANSI cut level 4 protection. HPPE is lightweight, low-linting and does not easily absorb liquids.
- Neoprene cuff (2mm) with hook-and-loop closure for secure, stay-on fit.
- Microfiber loop for latching or clipping gloves to tool belts.
